My testimony reflects memories created, friendships made and many lessons learned since joining Eels on Wheels in 2000. I have learned that not all wheelchairs float. I have learned that not all men should wear speedos. I have learned that my good, good friend who sits in a wheelchair stands much taller than any other man I know (except for my husband!). I have learned that working together we can accomplish much more than we can individually, although individually I can make a difference. I have learned that I don't always have to do it right; I just have to do SOMETHING. I have learned that I still have much to learn when it comes to knowing when to help and when to back off.

I have received ten-fold more blessings from this club than I deserve from the time and effort I have put into it. Thanks, Eels, for becoming a very important part of my life. Thanks, Eels, for turning my bubble-blowing passion into a worthy mission!
