Dear All,

My association with Eels goes back five years now. It Certainly was just a random Endeavour when one sunny morning in Northern California, (with low work load, never surf during work :) ) I was searching "disabled scuba" on the www. ( Not sure if it was google or Netscape. . .Must have been yahoo search engine. ) I found the eels web page and wrote to Gene I went the his house and watched the video and talked to him about it. He put me in touch With Peter to get certified. But I finally got certified by the gracious (Jill and Sherrie will Certainly agree to that.) Richard Kongable. Immediately after that I went to Bonaire with you all. I remember the first few days, no matter What I do, the tank never lasted for more than 25-30 minutes. (They never floated an emergency Regulator as they did in other places and George took advantage of that, in the good old Bonaire Days.) Thanks to Mindy, Chad and Tammy my life underwater changed for ever. I moved from being a "ping-pong" ball to a "golf-ball". Hence, even though Dr. Joe made his Noble Prize Winning "Ping-pong ball head" poem, Jill and Tammy still got me a golf ball. (The graceful and well composed Golf ball)

Honestly, the positive attitude in the group is quite contagious. I always have had a very cozy, friendly, "have known them for ever" feeling with all of you rom day one. Well, I could have been less verbose in my Earlier days, but back then I had very little political ambitions! Its been fantastic knowing, traveling and Diving with you all. While I have contributed very little to the activities of the group/club, I have thoroughly Enjoyed being part of the trips and parties. Thanks to all the organizers who make it possible every year. Thanks to you all, looking forward for my next trip with you!
